The 1st US National Kung Fu Tournament, held in 1986 in Houston TX, which was a historical event for Chinese martial arts. Master Clarke won the heavyweight Traditional fighting division.

In 1987-89, Clarke dominated the heavyweight Push-Hands division.

In 1989, representing the US Team in international competition, Master Clarke won the heavyweight full contact division at The Asian Cup, held in Seoul Korea, earning the World Championship title.

He was a member of the 1996 US team, winning 2 Gold and 3 Silver, at the South American Championship, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

 

Master Clarke’s true mastery lies in his ability as a trainer, TIC qualified (Teacher, Instructor, Coach). He is gifted in his ability to help individuals reach a high level of martial arts and body awareness and believe they can achieve it.

The teaching method developed by Master Clarke is clean, clear
and precise. To be in class with Master Clarke is fun and educational, at the same time, a tough trainer but light hearted and one of the few practitioners in the US that
understands and can execute Tai Chi as a true martial art…UNDISPUTED!

He has been sharing his knowledge in martial art with his students around the
world for many decades. He is definitely an experienced and qualified
instructor you can trust. Since retiring from competition, Master Clarke has been established as a world class trainer, working with the FBI SWAT team, Dan Reeves and the Denver Broncos, and was an Ambassador to the former Soviet Union,
Ministry of Sports.

Master Clarke, a multi-talented performer, motivational speaker and was the
choreographer for an international performing company ‘Up with People’, and
screen play writer of action and drama scripts. He has starred in 5 action
packed kung fu movies, seen on Showtime, Cinemax, and TNT. His last two
films are Tiger Street and Little Bear & the Master (2008).
